Lieberman's Party Resigns from Olmert Government

That Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu Party would leave the Olmert Government was confirmed this morning by Lieberman.
This announcement will directly impact the Bush/Rice initiative to require Israel to divide Jerusalem and give up land needed to protect the Israeli people. It is now clear to the world that neither Olmert or Abbas has the political power to force through unpopular and controversial policy decisions.
While the weakening of Olmert's coalition will not force it from office today, it will put intense pressure on his coalition partner Shas to leave as well. For an overview of Israel's political situation.

Yom Ha'Azmaut/Independence Day

Yesterday Israel turned 58. But it is actually ancient, I think Abraham goes back about 4000 years. It was to him the LORD gave the land in an eternal covenant in Genesis 15:
18 In that day the LORD made a covenant with Avram, saying, “To your seed have I given this land, from the river of Mitzrayim to the great river, the river Perat:
The modern part is also in the Scriptures. Isaiah 66 is just one example:
8 Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? shall a nation be brought forth at once? for as soon as Tziyon travailed, she brought forth her children.
Israels Unabhängigkeitstag
Israel feierte den Yom Ha'Azmaut, oder anders ausgedrückt seinen 58igsten Unabhängigkeitstag. Doch Israel ist ja viel älter als nur 58 Jahre. Ich denke, dass Israel auf Abraham zurück geht und der lebte ja vor rund 4'000 Jahren. Ihm wurde von JHVH das Land durch einen ewigen Bund gegeben. Wir lesen davon in Genesis 15: An dem Tage schloß der HERR einen Bund mit Abram und sprach: bDeinen Nachkommen will ich dies Land geben, von dem cStrom Ägyptens an bis an den großen dStrom Euphrat: 19die Keniter, die Kenasiter, die Kadmoniter, 20die Hetiter, die Perisiter, die Refaïter, 21die Amoriter, die Kanaaniter, die Girgaschiter, die Jebusiter.
Der moderne Teil über Israel finden wir dann in Jesaja 66 als nur eines von vielen Beispielen:
8Wer hat solches je gehört? Wer hat solches je gesehen? Ward ein Land an einem Tage geboren? Ist ein Volk auf einmal zur Welt gekommen? Kaum in Wehen, hat Zion schon ihre Kinder geboren. 9Sollte ich das Kind den Mutterschoß durchbrechen und nicht auch geboren werden lassen? spricht der HERR. Sollte ich, der gebären läßt, den Schoß verschließen? spricht dein Gott.
Freuen wir uns mit Israel an dem sich JHVH noch mächtig verherrlichen wird, vielmehr als damals als er die grosse Armee des Pharao im roten Meer versinken liess!

Sehnsucht nach dem Messias

Teil 2
Die Schöpfung in Sehnsucht nach dem Messias
Wenn wir uns mit diesen Themen beschäftigen, müssen wir uns vor Augen halten, dass die ganze Schöpfung sich nach der Befreiung aus der Gefangenschaft des Fluches sehnt. So wie wir uns innerlich nach der Erlösung aus unseren fleischlichen Körpern sehnen und in die
herrliche Freiheit der Söhne Gottes hier auf Erden kommen wollen. Es kommt eine neue Welt! Wenn wir Kinder Gottes sind, tragen wir bereits die ersten Früchte des Geistes in uns und spüren intensiv diesen Geburtsprozess. Die Ziele dieses Sehnens sind grossartig! Es sind:
- Die ständig anhaltende Rückkehr des Hauses Israel auf ihren alten Boden und ihre Errettung.
- Die Ausbreitung der Guten Nachricht ans Ende der Welt.
- Die Einheit im Leib Christi. Ein Gebet, das Jesus Christus betete und von dem ich glaube, dass es sicher in den letzten Tagen beantwortet wird. Wir lesen in der Schrift, dass die Urkirche ein Herz und eine Seele war (Apg. 4: 32). Um wieviel mehr, wenn der Spätregen auf die Erde ausgegossen wird!
- Die Rückkehr des Messias selbst und die Erlösung der Erde vom Fluch. Es ist dieses wunderbare Ereignis, von dem wir in Römer 8: 22-24 lesen.
Die Zusammenhänge
Diese Ereignisse dürfen wir nicht voneinander trennen. Sie alle hängen zusammen! Wie kann die Welt evangelisiert werden, wenn der Heilige Geist nicht über sie ausgegossen wird? Wie kommt die Einheit im Leib Christi zustande, wenn nicht durch die volle Manifestation der Einheit zwischen Juden und Heiden. Ist ER nicht gekommen, um die Scheidewand der Trennung zu entfernen?
Ein komplizierter Teil des Ganzen werden auch die Geburtswehen sein, die über die Welt kommen werden, bevor wir den Anbruch des durch Christus gesegneten, neuen Milleniums sehen werden. Wenn eine Frau ein Kind gebiert, geht es auch um eine schmutzige Angelegenheit mit viel Blut. Aber wenn das Kind da ist, oh, welche Freude .... denn ein neues Leben wurde geboren. So wird es auch mit dem Gebären des sichtbaren Königreichs Gottes auf der Erde sein. Gewaltige Turbulenzen vorher, aber grosse Freude darnach, wenn ER in Macht und Herrlichkeit vom Himmel herabkommt!
Der Gog-Magog-Krieg in Ezechiel 38-39

Wenn wir uns dem zweiten Krieg zuwenden, möchte ich mit den Folgen dieses Krieges anfangen. Lasst uns sie zusammenfassen und dann jede von ihnen im Detail ansehen:
Der zweite Krieg dieser Serie ist von grosser Bedeutung, weil er zur Errettung des Hauses Israel führt, die sogenannte "Geulat Israel". Er löst auch die ehrfurchterregendste Erweckung aus, die die Welt je gesehen hat!!! Er bringt den Islam zu Fall und setzt Millionen aus seiner Macht frei, damit sie die Gute Nachricht über Jesus Christus hören können. Dann öffnet er die sogenannte Strasse der Heiligkeit, die sich im Süden von Aegypten durch Israel bis nach Irak am Euphrat (früheres Assyrien) erstreckt.
All diese Nationen werden dem Herrn heilig sein Jesaja 11; 15-16 und 19; 22-25). Die zwei entfremdeten Brüder Isaak (Israel) und Ismael (die Araber) finden versöhnt zu einander durch Jeschua den Messias. Dieser Krieg wird auch zur Rückkehr der verstreuten Juden in ihr altes Land führen.
Er ebnet den Weg für die letzten sieben Jahre auf der Erde, so wie wir sie kennen. Er mündet auch in die Ankunft des Antichristen hier auf Erden. Der Islam wird verschwinden und der Antichrist tritt auf den Plan. Daniel sah die Beseitigung des Prinzen von Persien und das Kommen des Prinzen von Griechenland. Persien steht für den Islam und Griechenland steht für den Humanismus (Mensch wird zu Gott gemacht). Dies versucht der Antichrist zu tun. Uebrigens ist Persien der heutige Iran und dieses Land wird im Gog-Magog-Krieg als erstes erwähnt. Das werden wir später behandeln.

20 Er sagte: Weisst du, warum ich zu dir gekommen bin? Ich muss bald zurückkehren und mit dem Engelfürsten von Persien kämpfen. Wenn ich mit ihm fertig bin, dann wird der Fürst von Jawan kommen. 21 Vorher aber will ich dir mitteilen, was im Buch der Wahrheit aufgezeichnet ist. Doch keiner hilft mir tatkräftig gegen sie ausser eurem Engelfürsten Michael.
(Jawan wird in der englischen Bibel mit "Griechenland" übersetzt.) Durch den Gog-Magog-Krieg offenbart sich Gott den Nationen als der Heilige,gleich wie ER es tat, als ER Israel aus der ägyptischen Gefangenschaft herausführte. Einmal mehr wird die Welt erfahren, dass Israel seinen Heiligen Gott in seiner Mitte hat, 14 ähnlich wie es beim ersten Exodus passierte. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wird die Schlacht auf einer höheren Ebene der Kriegsführung ausgetragen. Der Antichchrist wird versuchen, gegen Gott und Seinen Gesalbten übernatürlich zu kämpfen. So wie sich die ägyptischen Zauberer Jannes und Jambres dem Mose mit übernatürlichen Zeichen und okkulten Wundern widersetzt haben, so wird die politische Schlacht zu einer völlig neuen Dimension wechseln. Es wird nicht mehr um übliche politische Machthaber wie Bill Clinton oder Tony Blair gehen. Die Politiker werden wissen, dass es einen Heiligen Gott in der Mitte Israels gibt und sie werden geistlich an der Seite des Antichristen gegen Gott und Seinen Messias Partei ergreifen. Wenn es soweit ist, werden wir mit ganz übernatürlichen Ereignissen zu tun haben, die im Buch der Offenbarung beschrieben sind.
Es gibt noch eine wichtige Konsequenz: Der Krieg wird zum Bau des dritten Tempels führen. Gemäss den acht Kapiteln, die dem Krieg in Ezechiel 38-39 folgen, wird sich der Herr dieser Sache annehmen und seine Herrlichkeit in diesen Tempel zurückbringen.
Rettung des Hauses Israel
Wir können Israels Rettung und die spätere Ausgiessung des Heiligen Geistes über Jerusalem aus verschiedenen Aspekten beleuchten:Die Truppen des Nordens, die das Land angreifen. Durch diesen Angriff wird es geschehen, dass Israel gerettet und der Geist ausgegossen wird. Wir können darüber im Gog-Magog-Krieg in Ezechiel 38-39 lesen, sowie über den zerstörenden Angriff der Armee des Nordens und dessen Folgen (Buch Joel).
Die Kontroverse über Jerusalem. Dies ist sehr genau in Sacharja 12-14 festgehalten. Gemäss Sacharja 12 werden die Nationen der Erde gegen Jerusalem in einer Schlacht antreten und Gott wird seinen Geist über die Einwohner von Jerusalem ausgiessen.
Wir werden uns jeden dieser Punkte im nächsten Teil anschauen.

Evacuation of Gaza: At what cost for America?

In this document we will list some of the most recent catastrophic events in the history of the USA and how these are directly related to (many of them on the same day or within 24 hours) actions attempting to divide the land of Israel for international peace.
The nations are on a collision course with the LORD Almighty over Israel. In the centre of all this is one nation: The United States of America.
The following is part of an address given by USA White House Correspondent, Bill Koenig, at a Shavuot Conference this year in Jerusalem.
THE ROOT OF THESE ACTIONS AGAINST ISRAEL
First of all: how is this possible when the USA president is an openly committed Christian and should know very well what is written in the Bible concerning Israel?
The answer to this is that Bush is a part of that 64% of the church in the USA that believes in replacement theology. This is a teaching that propagates that Israel has been replaced by the church in God's dealings and it is nothing more than a history lesson or equal to any other nation.
The part of the church that adheres to this theology never focuses on the Biblical and prophetic significance of today's Israel. Nor do they consider the direct teaching of the New Testament (for instance in Romans 11) that God has never forsaken His covenant with Israel and that the Gentile Christians only have been grafted into the blessing of Israel at a time when the Jewish people rejected the Person of YESHUA (JESUS). Thus about 100 million church going Americans have no understanding of Bible prophecy today whatsoever!
All of Pres. Bush's first term cabinet were replacement theologists. Except for John Ashcroft (Assemblies of God) who resigned shortly after Bush's re-election.
REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY
What exactly is replacement theology? It is the theology that looks at Israel as a history lesson and does not see the following significance: that the land of Israel was given in covenant to Abraham and his descendants and that no nation has the right to divide it.
How did this theology begin? In the third century theologians of that time looked at prophetic scriptures in the Bible as allegorical and not literal. This influenced Constantine, Augustine and many more with such an error that resulted in 18 centuries of anti-Semitism and persecution, the Crusades and the Inquisition, the language for Hitler, the anti-Semitism of Martin Luther, etc
The Vatican, the World Counsel of Churches and the National Counsel of Churches are the most aggressive spokesmen and letter writers against Israel, calling on Israel to leave the so called "occupied territories" (actually Biblical Judea & Samaria).
THE CENTRE OF THE CONFLICT
At the centre of all this are the borders and Capital of Israel today - as they developed after the Six Day War of 1967. A war that saw Israel striking fast and fierce against a massive military build up and taunting by Egypt and Syria - backed by the Russians - to utterly wipe her from the map of the earth. It is through this war that Jerusalem was reunited again under Jewish authority after thousands of years.
Through expert intelligence Israel could move in first strike. King Hussein of Jordan (another Arab country that attacked Israel in the Six day War) made the following statement about Israeli intelligence: Israel knew more about our 34 military facilities than we ourselves knew! Israel also knew that Egyptian pilots had breakfast at 7am, and in this way took out the entire Egyptian airforce before they could get into the air! Thus the 6 Day War started.
Biblical Samaria and Judea (today the so called "West Bank"), including East Jerusalem came back into Israeli sovereignty, together with the Golan Heights and the Sinai. A bare 5 months later the United Nations passed UN Resolution 242 calling on Israel to give back all the land they were victorious in obtaining against an Arab enemy seeking the utter annihilation of Israel! When in world history did we have something like this? It is absolutely ludicrous!
Today 54 Muslim nations are making the United Nations and the world believe that the deterrent to world peace is the tiny land of Israel. This small piece of earth that God gave to Abraham's descendants from the line of Isaac! It is smaller than New Jersey in the USA!
If we look at the present day negotiations for peace in the Middle East it is important to remember that UN resolution 242 is part of today's Quartet Roadmap! There is an interesting scripture in the Bible dealing with Jerusalem and the nations of the earth in the end of days that says the following:
Zechariah 12:3 On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it shall grievously hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will come together against it.
THE USA IN THIS REGARD
Every president of the USA that thought they would solve the Middle East question with a human agenda has so far run into severe problems! Let us briefly list some:
Nixon got involved in this through Secretary of State Rogers at that time. On the night the USA co-sponsored UN Resolution 338 (calling for the execution of Resolution 242) Nixon had his second worst night of the whole Watergate Scandal! The night he fired everyone.
Jimmy Carter's presidency (that orchestrated the signing away of Sinai to Egypt) went down as one of the most failed presidencies in the history of the USA. With highest interest rates in history, highest oil prices, a military with terrible morale, and so forth. He lost his office badly to Ronald Reagan. Carter's Gallup poll approval rating plummeted in July 1980 to 21%; the lowest level recorded since the Gallup organisation began polling in the 1930s during the Roosevelt administration. Carter also had the worst election-year economic record since 1932.
Ronald Reagan used to pass out a brochure at his Sunday School class in Los Angeles about the importance of the land of Israel. For all practical purposes he didn't want anything to do with the Middle East Peace Process. He understood the significance of Israel's land but in his second term in office he reluctantly moved forward under the influence of Secretary of State George Schultz who had spoken to Arafat, Peres etc. Soon after this there was the Iran-Contra scandal stopping these Middle East Peace efforts in its tracts. Reagan limped out of his final year and a half of presidency.
George W Bush SR.: In his office he had to deal with the significant problem of Saddam Hussein, who wanted to take over the Saudi and Kuwaiti oil fields. Thus achieving control over half of the world's oil. Bush wanting to include the Arabs in his multi- national alliance and promised the Arabs a Middle East Peace conference when the war was over.
After Operation Desert Storm in the Gulf War Bush had the highest public rating of any president in the history of the USA - 91% of the USA population actually favoured what he was doing as president. A few months later he started his planning for the Madrid peace for land conference regarding Israel and the Arabs. This took place on Oct 30 - Nov 1, 1991. Madrid is actually where the current Middle East Peace process began! This is very crucial because the father of current president of the USA, George W Bush JR, actually opened the process.
MADRID LAND FOR PEACE
George W Bush SR had a secretary of state named James Baker, who in favour of the Palestinians suggested the freezing of $ 10 billion in loan guarantees that the USA had committed to Israel.
What happened to George Bush SR's approval rating in America after the Madrid Conference? Thirteen months later he was out of office, never mind a second term as president. Pres. Gorbachov of Russia also cosponsored the Madrid Conference. He was out of office 5 weeks later!
As Pres. Bush SR. was in Madrid speaking about his vision of peace in the Middle East an enormous storm with 30 feet waves, called the Perfect Storm (lately also on screen), were crashing into his home at Kenny Bunk Port! His next official business after the Madrid Conference was to survey the damage to his private property. Think of this and the timing! At exactly the time that he was talking about how Israel was going to divide their land his own real estate was devastated!
August 23, 1992: The Madrid Conference moves to Washington D.C. one year later and the peace talks resume, lasting four days. On that same day, Hurricane Andrew pummelled Florida and Louisiana - the worst natural disaster ever to hit America - producing an estimated $25 billion in damage and leaves 180,000 homeless in Florida
DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES
This has been researched over and over. When the land and property of Israel is at risk, so is the land and property of the nation that is applying the pressure on Israel to divide their land! Most of these disasters have been in the USA because they have been the key and point person in this process.
In the last 14 years the USA has had 9 of the 10 largest (most expensive) insurance events in the country's history with a same day or 24 hours connection to the pressure that the USA administration has applied to Israel!!! Six of the seven costliest hurricanes in US history; three of the four largest tornado outbreaks and the two largest terror events in USA history!
God is very serious when it comes to the land of Israel! Over 75% of the billion plus dollar insurance events have a direct connection to the pressure that the USA has put on Israel. I will list some (not all mentioned by Koenig) before moving on to 9/11. THE DIRECT TERROR ONSLAUGHT ON THE USA.

Less than 24 hours later, a powerful 6.9 earthquake rocks Southern California, This quake, centred in Northridge, is the second most destructive natural disaster to hit the United States, behind Hurricane Andrew.
March 1 to April 1997: The combination of PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat touring America and Clinton rebuking Israel for not giving away her land for peace coincide with some of the worst tornadoes and flooding in US history. On the very day Arafat lands in America, powerful tornadoes devastate huge sections of the nation, ripping across Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kentucky and Tennessee. The same day Hurricane George slams into the Gulf Coast with 110 mph winds and gusts up to 175. The hurricane hits the coast and stalls. On September 28, Clinton meets with Arafat and Netanyahu at the White House to finalise the land deal. Later, Aright addresses the United Nations about declaring an independent Palestinian state by May 1999, while Hurricane George pounds the Gulf Coast causing $1 billion in damage. At the exact time Arafat departs the US the storm begins to dissipate.
October 15-22, 1998: On October 15, 1998, Yasser Arafat and Benjamin Netanyahu meet at the Wye River Plantation in Maryland. The talks are scheduled to last five days with the focus on Israel giving up 13 percent of Yesha. The talks are extended and conclude on October 23. On October 17, awesome rains and tornadoes hit southern Texas. The San Antonio area is deluged with rain. The rain and flooding in Texas continue until October 22 and then subside. The floods ravage 25 percent of Texas and leave over one billion dollars in damage. On October 21, Clinton declares this section of Texas a major disaster area.
May 3, 1999: This was the day that Yasser Arafat scheduled to declare a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. The declaration is postponed to December 1999 at the request of President Clinton, whose letter to Arafat encourages him for his "aspirations for his own land." He also writes that the Palestinians have a right to "determine their own future on their own land," and that they deserve to "live free, today, tomorrow and forever." That same day, starting at 4:47pm CDT, the most powerful tornado storm system ever to hit the United States sweeps across Oklahoma and Kansas. The winds are clocked at 316 mph the fastest wind speed ever recorded.
June 5-11, 2001 On June 5, President George W. Bush sends CIA director George Tenet to Israel to try to broker a cease-fire between the Israelis and the Palestinians and to implement the Mitchell Report. Tenet wants Israel to stop building in the settlement areas. On Friday, June 8, the CIA director hosts talks between senior Israeli and Palestinian security officials, while Assistant Secretary of State William Bums meets Yasser Arafat. Exactly coinciding with these talks, on June 8.-9, one of the greatest rainfalls in the history of the United States occurs in eastern Texas. In a 24 hour period, over 28 inches of rain fells in the Houston area. The nightly news reported the flooding and the meetings in Israel together! Tropical Storm Allison formed within one day and dumped three feet of rain on the area between June 5 and 11. The destruction in Houston was catastrophic, with 28 counties being declared a federal disaster area.
These are some of the natural disasters which coincided with Arafat's visits, and meetings in which the USA pressured Israel to give up its land. Recorded below are a number of drops in the stock market which coincide with Arafat's visits:
* November 23, 1999: Arafat meets with Clinton in Washington, who is raising funds of the Palestinian state. That day the stock market fell 216 points.
* March 23, 1999: Arafat meets with Clinton in Washington D.C. That day the market falls 219 points.
* September 22, 1999: Arafat meets with Clinton in Washington D.C. The day before and after the meeting, the market falls more than 200 points each day. This was the first time in history the market lost more than 200 points two days in a week. The market lost 534 points that week.
* June 16, 2000: Arafat meets with President Clinton. The market fell 265 points on that day.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
But America's life as we know it, really changed on September 11, 2001. This is when all the nations too got pulled into the international fight with Islamic terror.
The war on terrorism is a judgement against the United States, make no mistake, costing her already about a trillion dollars. $300 billion in Iraq and Afghanistan and fortunes more elsewhere. Every time the USA puts pressure on Israel, things worsen in Iraq! It is immediate!
But not only the lives of Americans have changed. The terror problem which before was limited mostly to Israel has become global. It is clear that God said: what is enough is enough!
The LORD did not produce the evil of 9/11 but the point is that He did not restrain it!!! There has been so many terror events over the years, in '87, '98, 2000 that were restrained by God, but 9/11 was different! So what actually happened?
BUSH'S DEALINGS WITH THE SAUDIS
17 Days prior to 9/11 president George W Bush JR met with Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. They met because in the early part of August 2001 Abdullah thought that Bush was siding with the Israelis and was not a fair peace maker in the Middle East.
This happened after Bush chastised Yasser Arafat for the suicide bombings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Abdullah got a message through to the White House confronting Bush and the USA that they would go their own way as the USA has made their decision to go with Israel. This petrified Bush and the USA because of their weak economic situation: they needed the oil of the Arabs and the Saudis.
Pres. Bush contacted his father and asked him to get hold of Abdullah and the latter tried twice. No returned phone calls! Now remember these two were very good friends. Bush tried the same. No returned call. Finally they summoned prince Bundar, the Saudi ambassador of the USA, a good friend of the Bushes to Washington to find out what the problem was.
So Bush and Colin Powell decided that the president needed something substantial to appease the Arabs. Thus Bush, Powell, Bundar and Kurzer(USA ambassador to Israel) became involved in 17 days of intense negotiations. This is a copyrighted Washington Post article and it talks about incredible negotiations taking place. As a matter of fact on 9/10 it was all but finished! Prince Bundar said he was going to take 9/11 off having worked so hard and being excited where the peace process was going.
On September 24, 2001, Colin Powell was going to give Pres. Bush's vision for the Middle East to the UN Security Counsel. But 9/11 stopped that from being given. If we look at 9/11 symbolically it actually is the same as the emergency number of the USA! September 11 was nothing less than America's wake up call! A national day of emergency!
Koenig: "I had been in the White House that particular night and I had been sending letters to Pres. Bush, Ari Fleischer, and a few members of his staff warning them not to touch the land of Israel...there were about 6 of us in Ari Fleischer's office...just before Bush was going to give a national address to the nation. There were about 5 major networks there besides me..... Fleischer kept looking at his notes and looking at me...it was so surreal. We have a decent size internet news service, not nearly the size of CNN, ABC and CBS but Fleischer was so captivated and being a Jew himself....we've been warning the president, we've been warning the staff, writing letters.... they were aware of it.... and it is a huge problem right now because the church in the USA is divided on this issue right now! But isn't this amazing! Anything to do with Israel or with Jesus Christ is very divisive. This is no surprise because the whole world is divided over Jesus Christ and also now the church over Israel..."
THE EVACUATION OF GAZA: AT WHAT COST FOR THE USA?
We started out our article with this heading. I would say it is something really serious for every American and in fact every grown up in the world to consider!
If a door for terror (September 11) and massive natural disasters has already been opened simply by the initial scheming and attempts to divide the land of Israel, what will be the consequences of the actual act - the day that all Jews have to leave Gaza?
This is a very serious question to answer. The world has not yet come to the point of nuclear terrorism or war. But we know what effect the atom bomb had on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The USA knows what it is like to be hit by hurricanes like Andrew and George. This however is nothing in comparison with the forces which really can be unleashed in nature. Very recently, in fact at the turn of this new year, we beheld the destructive power of what a tsunami can do.
The division of the land of Israel is nothing to play dice with. Nothing at all! For that the Word of God is altogether too clear!
I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgement against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.

Mayor Ray Nagin ordered an immediate mandatory evacuation Sunday for all of New Orleans, a city sitting below sea level with 485,000 inhabitants, as Hurricane Katrina bore down with winds up to nearly 282 kph and a threat of a massive storm surge. It is like a scene from the movie industry lately, however it is frighteningly real. Drienie just tonight said to me that leaders in high places have crossed a line with Gaza that should never have been touched.
Hurricane Katrina is still a puzzle - the storm grew out of the remnants of a tropical depression that never got its act together. Now it is speeding along when it was supposed to slow down and jogging south when it was supposed to head west. "The unique features of this storm are that first of all it went from nothing, a disturbance, not even a depression to a hurricane in two-and-a-half days.
EUROPE
In the meantime cities and towns across central Europe remain on alert as they deal with the impact of devastating floods which have killed at least 42 people. Evacuations from Alpine towns in Switzerland have been continuing, with hundreds taken to safety in Brienz. The Swiss capital Bern has also been hard hit by the flood water - with fears of further problems later. The authorities fear water from blockages upstream could be unleashed on areas where water is starting to recede. Forecasters warn there is still rain ahead, but it has eased in many places.
SHARON AND BUSH
What is happening to Sharon and Bush? The oldest son of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was indicted today on corruption charges in connection with fund-raising activities for one of his father's election campaigns, the Justice Ministry in Israel announced. In Iraq, Bushes dreams of a "democratic" Arab Iraq is falling apart as the constitution is rejected. It is no secret that Iraq is already turning into another Vietnam, costing the USA a massive price in lives and dollars.
THE PHYSICAL DESTRUCTION OF JEWISH GAZA
The LORD really lifted me up in what happened at the Western Wall on Tuesday night. Drienie too felt a change in atmosphere in the City the day after. However Wednesday evening was very difficult again. To watch on Israeli TV the level of desperate supplication that really took place to spare the life of the communities. These fell on totally deaf ears - both the police and the army; as well as the government of Israel.
Then the level of destruction. In 15 -45 seconds a home is reduced to utter rubble. Trees and plants are treaded down by bulldozers. The absolute futility of this. Homes where people lived together, shared their pain and love. Towns are destroyed in a day's time. Where communities lived close together and built a future in their faith. That took years of love and consecration .... no much more than that.... tears and blood - wiped from the map as if they never existed. Where once God's remarkable testimony blossomed so clearly and abundantly. This rages at heaven!
In the meantime many of these settlers are living in tents together to be able to keep their communal life intact. The inhabitants of Netser Hasane, for instance - which featured in several testimonies to God's miraculous blessing in Gaza in our film of Gush Katif - are squatting in tents together in a park in Tel Aviv! These were successful farmers that produced 70% of Israel's organic export to other countries. Now confound to a life of squatting in a park in Tel Aviv!
For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Book of Romans 8: 22
The nations are on a collision course with the LORD Almighty over Israel. In the centre of all this is one nation: The United States of America.
The following is part of an address given by USA White House Correspondent, Bill Koenig, at a Shavuot Conference this year in Jerusalem.
THE ROOT OF THESE ACTIONS AGAINST ISRAEL
First of all: how is this possible when the USA president is an openly committed Christian and should know very well what is written in the Bible concerning Israel?
The answer to this is that Bush is a part of that 64% of the church in the USA that believes in replacement theology. This is a teaching that propagates that Israel has been replaced by the church in God's dealings and it is nothing more than a history lesson or equal to any other nation.
The part of the church that adheres to this theology never focuses on the Biblical and prophetic significance of today's Israel. Nor do they consider the direct teaching of the New Testament (for instance in Romans 11) that God has never forsaken His covenant with Israel and that the Gentile Christians only have been grafted into the blessing of Israel at a time when the Jewish people rejected the Person of YESHUA (JESUS). Thus about 100 million church going Americans have no understanding of Bible prophecy today whatsoever!
All of Pres. Bush's first term cabinet were replacement theologists. Except for John Ashcroft (Assemblies of God) who resigned shortly after Bush's re-election.
REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY
What exactly is replacement theology? It is the theology that looks at Israel as a history lesson and does not see the following significance: that the land of Israel was given in covenant to Abraham and his descendants and that no nation has the right to divide it.
How did this theology begin? In the third century theologians of that time looked at prophetic scriptures in the Bible as allegorical and not literal. This influenced Constantine, Augustine and many more with such an error that resulted in 18 centuries of anti-Semitism and persecution, the Crusades and the Inquisition, the language for Hitler, the anti-Semitism of Martin Luther, etc
The Vatican, the World Counsel of Churches and the National Counsel of Churches are the most aggressive spokesmen and letter writers against Israel, calling on Israel to leave the so called "occupied territories" (actually Biblical Judea & Samaria).
THE CENTRE OF THE CONFLICT
At the centre of all this are the borders and Capital of Israel today - as they developed after the Six Day War of 1967. A war that saw Israel striking fast and fierce against a massive military build up and taunting by Egypt and Syria - backed by the Russians - to utterly wipe her from the map of the earth. It is through this war that Jerusalem was reunited again under Jewish authority after thousands of years.
Through expert intelligence Israel could move in first strike. King Hussein of Jordan (another Arab country that attacked Israel in the Six day War) made the following statement about Israeli intelligence: Israel knew more about our 34 military facilities than we ourselves knew! Israel also knew that Egyptian pilots had breakfast at 7am, and in this way took out the entire Egyptian airforce before they could get into the air! Thus the 6 Day War started.
Biblical Samaria and Judea (today the so called "West Bank"), including East Jerusalem came back into Israeli sovereignty, together with the Golan Heights and the Sinai. A bare 5 months later the United Nations passed UN Resolution 242 calling on Israel to give back all the land they were victorious in obtaining against an Arab enemy seeking the utter annihilation of Israel! When in world history did we have something like this? It is absolutely ludicrous!
Today 54 Muslim nations are making the United Nations and the world believe that the deterrent to world peace is the tiny land of Israel. This small piece of earth that God gave to Abraham's descendants from the line of Isaac! It is smaller than New Jersey in the USA!
If we look at the present day negotiations for peace in the Middle East it is important to remember that UN resolution 242 is part of today's Quartet Roadmap! There is an interesting scripture in the Bible dealing with Jerusalem and the nations of the earth in the end of days that says the following:

THE USA IN THIS REGARD
Every president of the USA that thought they would solve the Middle East question with a human agenda has so far run into severe problems! Let us briefly list some:

On October 17, awesome rains and tornadoes hit southern Texas. The San Antonio area is deluged with rain. The rain and flooding in Texas continue until October 22 and then subside. The floods ravage 25 percent of Texas and leave over one billion dollars in damage. On October 21, Clinton declares this section of Texas a major disaster area.
May 3, 1999: This was the day that Yasser Arafat scheduled to declare a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. The declaration is postponed to December 1999 at the request of President Clinton, whose letter to Arafat encourages him for his "aspirations for his own land." He also writes that the Palestinians have a right to "determine their own future on their own land," and that they deserve to "live free, today, tomorrow and forever." That same day, starting at 4:47pm CDT, the most powerful tornado storm system ever to hit the United States sweeps across Oklahoma and Kansas. The winds are clocked at 316 mph the fastest wind speed ever recorded.
June 5-11, 2001 On June 5, President George W. Bush sends CIA director George Tenet to Israel to try to broker a cease-fire between the Israelis and the Palestinians and to implement the Mitchell Report. Tenet wants Israel to stop building in the settlement areas. On Friday, June 8, the CIA director hosts talks between senior Israeli and Palestinian security officials, while Assistant Secretary of State William Bums meets Yasser Arafat. Exactly coinciding with these talks, on June 8.-9, one of the greatest rainfalls in the history of the United States occurs in eastern Texas. In a 24 hour period, over 28 inches of rain fells in the Houston area. The nightly news reported the flooding and the meetings in Israel together! Tropical Storm Allison formed within one day and dumped three feet of rain on the area between June 5 and 11. The destruction in Houston was catastrophic, with 28 counties being declared a federal disaster area.
These are some of the natural disasters which coincided with Arafat's visits, and meetings in which the USA pressured Israel to give up its land. Recorded below are a number of drops in the stock market which coincide with Arafat's visits:
* November 23, 1999: Arafat meets with Clinton in Washington, who is raising funds of the Palestinian state. That day the stock market fell 216 points.
* March 23, 1999: Arafat meets with Clinton in Washington D.C. That day the market falls 219 points.
* September 22, 1999: Arafat meets with Clinton in Washington D.C. The day before and after the meeting, the market falls more than 200 points each day. This was the first time in history the market lost more than 200 points two days in a week. The market lost 534 points that week.
* June 16, 2000: Arafat meets with President Clinton. The market fell 265 points on that day.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
But America's life as we know it, really changed on September 11, 2001. This is when all the nations too got pulled into the international fight with Islamic terror.
The war on terrorism is a judgement against the United States, make no mistake, costing her already about a trillion dollars. $300 billion in Iraq and Afghanistan and fortunes more elsewhere. Every time the USA puts pressure on Israel, things worsen in Iraq! It is immediate!
But not only the lives of Americans have changed. The terror problem which before was limited mostly to Israel has become global. It is clear that God said: what is enough is enough!
The LORD did not produce the evil of 9/11 but the point is that He did not restrain it!!! There has been so many terror events over the years, in '87, '98, 2000 that were restrained by God, but 9/11 was different! So what actually happened?
BUSH'S DEALINGS WITH THE SAUDIS
17 Days prior to 9/11 president George W Bush JR met with Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. They met because in the early part of August 2001 Abdullah thought that Bush was siding with the Israelis and was not a fair peace maker in the Middle East.
This happened after Bush chastised Yasser Arafat for the suicide bombings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Abdullah got a message through to the White House confronting Bush and the USA that they would go their own way as the USA has made their decision to go with Israel. This petrified Bush and the USA because of their weak economic situation: they needed the oil of the Arabs and the Saudis.
Pres. Bush contacted his father and asked him to get hold of Abdullah and the latter tried twice. No returned phone calls! Now remember these two were very good friends. Bush tried the same. No returned call. Finally they summoned prince Bundar, the Saudi ambassador of the USA, a good friend of the Bushes to Washington to find out what the problem was.
So Bush and Colin Powell decided that the president needed something substantial to appease the Arabs. Thus Bush, Powell, Bundar and Kurzer(USA ambassador to Israel) became involved in 17 days of intense negotiations. This is a copyrighted Washington Post article and it talks about incredible negotiations taking place. As a matter of fact on 9/10 it was all but finished! Prince Bundar said he was going to take 9/11 off having worked so hard and being excited where the peace process was going.
On September 24, 2001, Colin Powell was going to give Pres. Bush's vision for the Middle East to the UN Security Counsel. But 9/11 stopped that from being given. If we look at 9/11 symbolically it actually is the same as the emergency number of the USA! September 11 was nothing less than America's wake up call! A national day of emergency!
Koenig: "I had been in the White House that particular night and I had been sending letters to Pres. Bush, Ari Fleischer, and a few members of his staff warning them not to touch the land of Israel...there were about 6 of us in Ari Fleischer's office...just before Bush was going to give a national address to the nation. There were about 5 major networks there besides me..... Fleischer kept looking at his notes and looking at me...it was so surreal. We have a decent size internet news service, not nearly the size of CNN, ABC and CBS but Fleischer was so captivated and being a Jew himself....we've been warning the president, we've been warning the staff, writing letters.... they were aware of it.... and it is a huge problem right now because the church in the USA is divided on this issue right now! But isn't this amazing! Anything to do with Israel or with Jesus Christ is very divisive. This is no surprise because the whole world is divided over Jesus Christ and also now the church over Israel..."
THE EVACUATION OF GAZA: AT WHAT COST FOR THE USA?
We started out our article with this heading. I would say it is something really serious for every American and in fact every grown up in the world to consider!
If a door for terror (September 11) and massive natural disasters has already been opened simply by the initial scheming and attempts to divide the land of Israel, what will be the consequences of the actual act - the day that all Jews have to leave Gaza?
This is a very serious question to answer. The world has not yet come to the point of nuclear terrorism or war. But we know what effect the atom bomb had on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The USA knows what it is like to be hit by hurricanes like Andrew and George. This however is nothing in comparison with the forces which really can be unleashed in nature. Very recently, in fact at the turn of this new year, we beheld the destructive power of what a tsunami can do.
The division of the land of Israel is nothing to play dice with. Nothing at all! For that the Word of God is altogether too clear!
I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgement against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.

The land (of Israel) shall not be sold permanently, for the land is Mine; for you are strangers and sojourners with Me.

On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it shall grievously hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will come together against it.

As the bulldozers are still busy with the physical destruction of the Gaza Settlements, the terrible result of these deeds are already manifesting in the world. Massive storms and global disasters are hitting the earth - even as the prophetic scripture warned. (See for instance our letter in June: The Evacuation of Gaza: At what cost for America).
Mayor Ray Nagin ordered an immediate mandatory evacuation Sunday for all of New Orleans, a city sitting below sea level with 485,000 inhabitants, as Hurricane Katrina bore down with winds up to nearly 282 kph and a threat of a massive storm surge. It is like a scene from the movie industry lately, however it is frighteningly real. Drienie just tonight said to me that leaders in high places have crossed a line with Gaza that should never have been touched.
Hurricane Katrina is still a puzzle - the storm grew out of the remnants of a tropical depression that never got its act together. Now it is speeding along when it was supposed to slow down and jogging south when it was supposed to head west. "The unique features of this storm are that first of all it went from nothing, a disturbance, not even a depression to a hurricane in two-and-a-half days.
EUROPE
In the meantime cities and towns across central Europe remain on alert as they deal with the impact of devastating floods which have killed at least 42 people. Evacuations from Alpine towns in Switzerland have been continuing, with hundreds taken to safety in Brienz. The Swiss capital Bern has also been hard hit by the flood water - with fears of further problems later. The authorities fear water from blockages upstream could be unleashed on areas where water is starting to recede. Forecasters warn there is still rain ahead, but it has eased in many places.
SHARON AND BUSH
What is happening to Sharon and Bush? The oldest son of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was indicted today on corruption charges in connection with fund-raising activities for one of his father's election campaigns, the Justice Ministry in Israel announced. In Iraq, Bushes dreams of a "democratic" Arab Iraq is falling apart as the constitution is rejected. It is no secret that Iraq is already turning into another Vietnam, costing the USA a massive price in lives and dollars.
THE PHYSICAL DESTRUCTION OF JEWISH GAZA
The LORD really lifted me up in what happened at the Western Wall on Tuesday night. Drienie too felt a change in atmosphere in the City the day after. However Wednesday evening was very difficult again. To watch on Israeli TV the level of desperate supplication that really took place to spare the life of the communities. These fell on totally deaf ears - both the police and the army; as well as the government of Israel.
Then the level of destruction. In 15 -45 seconds a home is reduced to utter rubble. Trees and plants are treaded down by bulldozers. The absolute futility of this. Homes where people lived together, shared their pain and love. Towns are destroyed in a day's time. Where communities lived close together and built a future in their faith. That took years of love and consecration .... no much more than that.... tears and blood - wiped from the map as if they never existed. Where once God's remarkable testimony blossomed so clearly and abundantly. This rages at heaven!
In the meantime many of these settlers are living in tents together to be able to keep their communal life intact. The inhabitants of Netser Hasane, for instance - which featured in several testimonies to God's miraculous blessing in Gaza in our film of Gush Katif - are squatting in tents together in a park in Tel Aviv! These were successful farmers that produced 70% of Israel's organic export to other countries. Now confound to a life of squatting in a park in Tel Aviv!
For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Book of Romans 8: 22

SOLAR ECLIPSE
Yesterday there was another solar eclipse clearly visible over Israel. It came on the day that the final results of the Israeli elections became known. The election was a very serious one indeed because the Israelis voted for the future of the country's borders. The
outcome, in spite of the clear finger of GOD (Sharon's strokes, Hurricane Katrina) was overwhelmingly in support for the division of the land and the creation of a Palestinian state.
The outcome of the election came as no surprise to me, really. There are even many Christians who cannot see the warning of GOD in Sharon's strokes and Hurricane Katrina. How much clearer must God speak in the light of His Word?! I think the Israelis also feel that they have already given up so much in Gaza that they cannot go back on it now.
Sometimes eclipses signal terrible things coming. I am just thinking of the last solar eclipse over the Middle East before this one. It took place on October 3 last year. In the same week the devastating earthquake in Pakistan occurred, one of the worst in modern history. It claimed the lives of between 50 and 100 000 people.
In his victory speech Israel's new prime minister, Ehud Olmert, first of all started to sing the praises of Ariel Sharon, as if Sharon's dangerous vision for Israel has not brought on enough destruction already, not to even mention the many people he had betrayed to
achieve his aims. It sometimes baffles me how oblivious leaders can be to reality, no matter how clear it may be.
OLMERT
Olmert is no doubt one of the most gifted politician that Israel has. He was only 28 when he was first elected to parliament. Later he had 2 terms of great success as mayor of Jerusalem. He defended the indivisibility of the holy city to the teeth.
He is by far the most charismatic speaker amongst any Israeli leader I have ever heard. He also is someone who has walked a long road with Christians in mutual love. I always thought what a blessing it would be for the country if a man such as he could become the prime minister.
He was also one of the two leading figures in Nathan Sharansky's JERUSALEM I PLEDGE TO YOU - a gathering on January 8, 2001 after Ehud Barak had placed Jerusalem on the negotiations table with Clinton's Camp David. It turned out to be one - if not the biggest -
convocation Jerusalem had ever experienced in history.
Very soon after this rally Barak was out of office and Sharon replaced him with the biggest majority ever in this nation's modern politics. Interesting, the night after the rally there was a complete lunar eclipse. We made a film on this rally and we still have the film on DVD if you would be interested to watch it and pray for Olmert.
No doubt the blessing of God came upon Olmert in a major way, but what will the future hold for him and his office in this critically important period of history. He joined forces wholeheartedly with Sharon on the issue of Gaza and Israel's borders in a two state
solution. Sharon walked in a mutual love with Christians too. However with the last two feasts of Tabernacles he would not even come and speak to them as before. The reasons are not too clear to me. I hope that Olmert would not let go of the unique relationship he has built up with the Body of Messiah over the years. Please pray for him as for
no other leader in the world!

Regen in Jsrael, Südafrika und Namibia

Shalom aus Jerusalem
Ich hoffe ihr werdet diese Ereignisse in Jsrael genau so bedeutsam finden wie ich!
Ihr erinnert euch vielleicht noch an den 29. März 06 anlässlich diesem die fast auf der ganzen Welt sichtbare Sonnenfinsternis zu sehen war, genau ein Tag nach den Wahlen in Jsrael. Paralell dazu gab es auch in der Natur Ereignisse, die ich wirklich höchst interessant finde.
Am Samstag, den 1. April (es war der Jüdische Shabbat) war ich dabei mit einem Freund dabei in der Altstadt Jerusalems die Stadtmauern abzulaufen. Der HERR hatte mir am Morgen Psalm 48 gegeben.
12Dessen freue sich der Berg Zion, und die Töchter Juda seien fröhlich, weil du recht richtest.
13Ziehet um Zion herum und umschreitet es, zählt seine Türme; 14habt gut acht auf seine Mauern, durchwandert seine Paläste, daß ihr den Nachkommen davon erzählt: 15Wahrlich, adas ist Gott, unser Gott für immer und ewig. Er ist's, der uns führet.
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Tag und marschierten ein rechtes Stück.
Am Abend war ich sehr müde und bevor ich zu Bett ging überlegte ich noch ob ich nicht die Fensterstoren herunterlassen sollte, weil es schon sehr stark angefangen hatte zu Regnen. Allerdings dachte ich nicht, dass der Regen u zu fürchten wäre und tat es nicht. Dies war ein Fehler! Als ich am nächsten Morgen aufwachte stellte ich fest, dass so viel Wasser unter der Türe heingeflossen war, dass der ganze Teppich im Wohnzimmer mit Wasser getränkt war.
SPÄT (FRÜHLING) REGEN 2006
Erst gestern wurde mir bewusst, dass diese kurze Zeit in der unser Wohnraum mit Wasser benetzt wurde, auch Jerusalem so stark mit Wasser getränkt wurde, dass die Menge an Wasser 20% des normalen Jahresregens ausmachte - und das innerhalb von 12 Stunden!
Only yesterday it came to my attention that in the short span of time that our living room became soaked Jerusalem was getting more than 20% of its normal rainfall - in a matter of 12 hours! Ich führe auszugsweise einen Bericht zu diesem Phänomen an:
Jetzt im April 2006, der Zeit wo es sehr rasch auf die Periode hingeht wo der Sommer kommt und es dann trocken wird, hat Gott das Land gesegnet mit sindflutartigem Frühlingsregen! Dieser langsam, vor einigen Tagen im Westen von Afrika gebildete Regen, hat nun sein Wasser über uns ausgegossen. Im Natürlichen konnte sich dies aufgrund eines ungewöhn-lichen Hochs auf hohem Niveau innerhalb des Polarstromes bilden. Im allgemeinen fielen von Dan bis Beersheba zwischen 1 und 5 Centimeter Regen, einer Menge die für die Zeit von April ungewöhnlich ist. Interessant ist auch die Tatsache, dass die stärksten Niederschläge über der Heiligen Stadt Jerusalem, niedergingen! Hier in Jerusalem waren es rund 20% der normalen Regenmenge eines ganzen Jahres, innerhalb von nur 12 Stunden. Damit verbunden waren wunderschöne Blitze zu sehen die diesen Frühlingsregen begleiteten. Es waren die stärksten Frühlingsregen die für Jerusalem für einen Tag seit Beginn der Messungen vor über Hundert Jahren je aufgezeichnet worden sind. Die 5 Centimeter Regen über Jerusalem sind 5x mehr als wir üblicherweise während des Monates April empfangen.

BIBEL-LESE
Am gleichen Tag stand meine tägliche Bibellese in Jesaja 35, eines der Kapitel in der Bibel das über die vor uns liegenden Tage, spricht wenn der HERR die Wüste in Jsrael in einen Blumengarten verwandeln wird. Ich las ebenfalls Jessaja 51 weil beide Kapitel die bevorstehenden mächtigen Veränderungen in der Wüste ansprechen, die bald statt finden werden.
Ich führe nachstehend nur gerade einen Vers aus den erwähnten Kapiteln an:
Jeremia 35:6
6Dann werden die Lahmen springen wie ein Hirsch, und die Zunge der Stummen wird frohlocken. Denn es werden Wasser in der Wüste hervorbrechen und Ströme im dürren Lande.
Jesaja 51:3
3Ja, der HERR tröstet Zion, er tröstet alle ihre Trümmer und macht ihre Wüste wie Eden und ihr dürres Land wie den dGarten des HERRN, daß man Wonne und Freude darin findet, Dank und Lobgesang.
NAMIBIA
Bevor wir dieses Jahr nach Südafrika gingen erzählte mir ein naher Verwandter von der schrecklichen Trockenheit die sie bis zur letzten Weihnachten durchmachten. Plötzlich kam der Regen und innerhalb einem Monat (während der Zeit von Januar bis Februar) bekamen sie soviel Regen wie dies normalerweise während eines ganzen Jahres der Fall ist.
Als wir dann in Kapstadt waren wurde uns bewusst, dass das grosse Wüstenland Namibia ebenfalls eine ungewöhnlich grosse Menge Regen erhielt. Namibia ist tatsächlich ein Wüstenland und eines der trockensten auf dieser Erde! Es gibt dort grosse Gebiete die nur gerade 150 Milimeter pro Jahr Regen erhalten!
Nichtsdestotrotz wurden am 19. März 2006 viele Gebiete dieser grossen Nation, in der nur gerade 2 Millionen Menschen leben, die grössten je gemessenen Niederschläge registriert, nämlich fast 1000 Milimeter – im Jahresvergleich von nur 150 Milimeter. Szenen die man nie zuvor in Namibia gesehen hatte, wurden Wirklichkeit: Grüne Grasteppiche, wo sonst nur Wüste zu sehen war.
Einen Bericht der mir zu Ohren kam lautete: Dies war der beste Regen seit über 1000 Jahren! Dies bedeutet Regen die vor vielen Hundert Jahren gefallen sind, als die ersten Siedler nach Afrika kamen. Ich weiss, dass dies nur eine Form der Beschreibung war, aber es hat in mir eine Saite zum klingen gebracht. Ich bekam den Eindruck, als ob das Klinka in diesem Land anfängt sich zu verändern. Das ist dies, über das die Bibel spricht, was in der letzten Zeit geschehen wird.
KAPSTADT EINE INSEL
In der Mitte aller dieser Erlebnisse kam eine Autobiographie in unsere Hände, die von einem sehr vertrauensvollen Evangelisten und Diener Gottes handelte, der hier unter dem Namen Dr. Willie Marais, bekannt ist. In einem der Kapitel erwähnt er ganz klar einen Eindruck, den er immer hatte, wenn er nach Kapstadt gekommen ist: Die Stadt wird verschwinden unter dem Meeressspiegel und nur die Höhe des Tafelgebirges wird noch wie eine Insel aus dem Meer ragen. Kapstadt ist die Hauptstadt von Südafrika und der Ort an dem die Regierung ihren Sitz hat.
Weshalb dieser Bericht so vertrauenswürdig ist, ist der Ruf dieses Gottesmannes in Südafrika. Im weiteren ist er ein Diener in der Holländisch Reformierten Kirche und nicht Teil der charismatischen Bewegung aus deren Zugehörigkeit man ja viel eher eine Prophetie dieser Art erwarten würde. Und noch wichtig, er hatte diesen Eindruck jedes Mal wenn er in Kapstadt war.
Ich habe seine Worte aus dem Afrikanns ins Englische, d.h. Deutsche übersetzt:
Als ich fragte: Wie soll denn dies geschehen, kam die Antwort: Durch ein Erdbeben. Es wird einen Riss in der Erde geben der dann das Meer von Kapstadt bis Fish Hoek verbinden wird. Dies wird sich nicht langsam entwickeln, sondern es wird in einem Augenblick geschehen. Es wird keine Zeit bleiben damit die Menschen dem entfliehen könnten….Es wird die grösste Naturkatastrophe sein, die dieses Land je getroffen hat.
UNSER BESUCH
Der HERR begann sehr klar zu uns über einen Besuch in Namibia zu sprechen. Wir haben dieses Land zuletzt im Jahr 1986 bereist, nicht viel später nach unserer Hochzeit, 20 Jahre zurück!
Namibia ist das Land in welchem ich im Jahre 1982 zum HERRN fand und wo ich kurz darauf eine Jüngerschaftsschule von JMEM (Jugend mit einer Mission) besuchte. Der HERR bestätigte unsere Reise mit Genesis 35. Es war erstaunlich. In dieser Schriftstelle kehrte Jakob nach Bethel zurück, wo ihm der HERR zum ersten mal begegnete.
Drienie und ich hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Namibia, aber ich heute nicht den Raum um in alle Détails zu gehen.
TRÄUME
Im Jahre 2001 hatte ich einen Traum von einer riesigen Flutwelle die an den Ort kam wo ich war. Bevor diese Flutwelle kam sah ich wie die Wasser in so riesiger Geschwindigkeit daherkamen, dass ich nur mit grosser Verwunderung zusehen konnte ohne etwas dagegen zu tun. Dann sah ich nach oben und sah wie diese riesige Flutwelle über dem Dach stand an dem Ort wo ich mich befand. Ich erinnere mich noch immer an diesen Traum wie ich bei dieser Situation meine alte Videokamera in der Hand hielt. In der nächsten Szene war ich dann wach und sprach zu Menschen.
Nach ca. 6 Monaten hatte ich wiederum einen Traum in dem die Wohnung in der wir uns befanden von Wasser umgeben war. Das Wasser kam so schnell, dass man nichts dagegen tun konnte. Das Wasser richtete aber keinen Schaden an und man konnte sich darin ganz einfach bewegen.
DER FRÜHLINGSSPÄTREGEN
In der Bibel finden wir das Buch Joel. Es ist in diesem Buch in dem Gott ganz klar über das Richten der Nationen spricht wenn diese anfangen das Heilige Land zu teilen und seine Menschen von darin auszustoßen. Lasst uns diese Texte lesen:
JOEL 4:1-2
Denn siehe, in jenen Tagen und zur selben Zeit, da ich adas Geschick Judas und Jerusalems wenden werde, 2will ich alle Heiden zusammenbringen und will sie ins bTal Joschafat hinabführen und will dort mit ihnen rechten wegen meines Volks und meines Erbteils Israel, weil sie es unter die Heiden zerstreut und sich in mein Land geteilt haben;
Diese Worte wurden gerade nach einem sehr angstvollen Ereignis welches im Land Gottes passierte, ausgesprochen: Ein massiver Angriff Jsrael’s aus dem Norden wurde durch Gottes übernatürliches Eingreifen völlig abgewehrt. In der Mitte dieses Ereignisses passierte noch folgendes:
JOEL 2:20-23
Und ich will den Feind aus Norden von euch wegtreiben und ihn in ein dürres und wüstes Land verstoßen, seine Spitze in das östliche Meer und sein Ende in das westliche Meer; er soll verfaulen und stinken, denn er hat Gewaltiges getan. 21Fürchte dich nicht, liebes Land, sondern sei fröhlich und getrost; denn der HERR kann auch Gewaltiges tun. 22Fürchtet euch nicht, ihr Tiere auf dem Felde; denn die Auen in der Steppe sollen grünen und die Bäume ihre Früchte bringen, und die Feigenbäume und Weinstöcke sollen reichlich tragen. 23Und ihr, Kinder Zions, freuet euch und seid fröhlich im HERRN, eurem Gott, der euch gnädigen Regen gibt und euch herabsendet aFrühregen und Spätregen wie zuvor,
Lasst uns diesen letzten Vers genauer ansehen. Der vorherige Regen meine der Regen der im Herbst fällt und der späte Regen bezeichnet den vom Frühling. Das ist die Zeit in der wir uns nun gerade befinden. Der erste Monat im biblischen Kalender ist der Monat Nissan, allgemein April genannt, dann wenn das Passah stattfindet. Pessach ist das biblische Fest das mit dem Auszug aus Ägypten zusammenfällt, genau so aber auch mit dem Tod und der Auferstehung Jeschua’s (Jesus) der Messias.
Dann macht der HERR aber noch etwas anderes!
JOEL 3:1- 4
1Und nach diesem will ich meinen Geist ausgießen über alles Fleisch, und eure Söhne und Töchter sollen weissagen, eure Alten sollen Träume haben, und eure Jünglinge sollen Gesichte sehen. 2 Auch will ich zur selben Zeit über Knechte und Mägde meinen Geist ausgießen. 3 Und ich will Wunderzeichen geben am Himmel und auf Erden: Blut, Feuer und Rauchdampf. 4 Die Sonne soll in Finsternis und der Mond in Blut verwandelt werden, ehe denn der große und schreckliche Tag des HERRN kommt. 5 Und es soll geschehen: Wer des HERRN Namen anrufen wird, der soll errettet werden. Denn auf dem Berge Zion und zu Jerusalem wird Errettung sein, wie der HERR verheißen hat, und bei den Entronnenen, die der HERR berufen wird.
ER fängt an seinen Heiligen Geist über das Bundesland in noch nie da gewesener Form auszugießen. Die Ausgießung ist sehr groß und wird von erstaunlichen kosmischen Zeichen begleitet. Ich würde nicht für einen Moment aufstehen und behaupten, dass wir uns nun in der Erfüllung von Joels Prophetie befinden. Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich keinen Zweifel, dass das was wir heute erleben ein prophetischen Vorzeichen ist über das was später folgen wird.
DAS ZUSAMMENFÜHREN
Einige von uns wissen, dass wir in der Zeite leben in der die Nationen Gottes Bundesland Jsrael aufteilen. Wir wissen ebenfalls dass der Angreifer vom Norden und die Ausgiessung von Gottes Geist auch noch in einem anderen Buch beschrieben wird, nämlich das Buch Hesekiel.
In den Kapiteln 38 und 39 lesen wir über den Gog-Magog-Krieg. Es ist dieser Krieg während diesem Gott seinen Heiligen Geist über Jsrael und allen den darinnen lebenden Juden ausgiessen wird und alle Juden in der Fremde werden in ihr Land zurückkehren (Hesekiel 39:25-29).
Das erste feindliche Land das in der Prophetie genannt wird ist der Iran (früher Persien). Dieser Krieg wird eine unheilige Allianz sein zwischen gewissen islamischen Ländern und was eindeutig ist, Russland im Norden.
Was erstaunlich ist, ist der Umstand, dass gerade der Iran die ganze Welt heute in Atem hält wegen der Herstellung atomarer Waffen. Es ist auch Russland, dass den Iran befähigt Atomreaktoren zu bauen.
Der HERR möge Euch reichlich segnen!

POST SCRIPTUM:
Gestern begann der neue Premierminister, Ehud Olmert etwas zu formen, was ich als eine unheilige Allianz mit der Arbeiterpartei unter der Führung von Amir Peretz, bezeichne.
Beide Parteien haben überhaupt keine Bedenken Land für politischen Gewinn wegzugeben. Peretz wurde sogar der Posten des Verteidigungsministers angeboten, auch wenn dieser von seiner Ausbildung und Erfahrung her von diesem Geschäfts keinerlei Ahnung hat, war er doch bislang der Leiter einer Arbeitervereinigung (in dieser Stellung hat er dem Land schon großen Schaden zugefügt).
Am gleichen Tag als dies stattfand ging ein Tornado über Jsrael hinweg der 70 Menschen verletzte, darunter 20 Kinder. Das schlechte Wetter beinhaltete starke Winde und Hagel. Der Wind beschädigte viele Häuser, drückte Türen und Fenster ein und verursachte in Galliläa in der Landwirtschaft erheblichen Schaden, weil Ernten und Treibhäuser vernichtet wurden. Die Avocado, Litchi und Bananen-Ernte wurde besonders stark getroffen. Ein Avocadopflanzer sagte mir, dass er noch nie so etwas gesehen hätte, da alle Blätter durch den Hagel von seinen Bäumen gefegt wurden.
Shalom aus Jerusalem
Ich hoffe ihr werdet diese Ereignisse in Jsrael genau so bedeutsam finden wie ich!
Ihr erinnert euch vielleicht noch an den 29. März 06 anlässlich diesem die fast auf der ganzen Welt sichtbare Sonnenfinsternis zu sehen war, genau ein Tag nach den Wahlen in Jsrael. Paralell dazu gab es auch in der Natur Ereignisse, die ich wirklich höchst interessant finde.
Am Samstag, den 1. April (es war der Jüdische Shabbat) war ich dabei mit einem Freund dabei in der Altstadt Jerusalems die Stadtmauern abzulaufen. Der HERR hatte mir am Morgen Psalm 48 gegeben.
12Dessen freue sich der Berg Zion, und die Töchter Juda seien fröhlich, weil du recht richtest.
13Ziehet um Zion herum und umschreitet es, zählt seine Türme; 14habt gut acht auf seine Mauern, durchwandert seine Paläste, daß ihr den Nachkommen davon erzählt: 15Wahrlich, adas ist Gott, unser Gott für immer und ewig. Er ist's, der uns führet.
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Tag und marschierten ein rechtes Stück.
Am Abend war ich sehr müde und bevor ich zu Bett ging überlegte ich noch ob ich nicht die Fensterstoren herunterlassen sollte, weil es schon sehr stark angefangen hatte zu Regnen. Allerdings dachte ich nicht, dass der Regen u zu fürchten wäre und tat es nicht. Dies war ein Fehler! Als ich am nächsten Morgen aufwachte stellte ich fest, dass so viel Wasser unter der Türe heingeflossen war, dass der ganze Teppich im Wohnzimmer mit Wasser getränkt war.
SPÄT (FRÜHLING) REGEN 2006
Erst gestern wurde mir bewusst, dass diese kurze Zeit in der unser Wohnraum mit Wasser benetzt wurde, auch Jerusalem so stark mit Wasser getränkt wurde, dass die Menge an Wasser 20% des normalen Jahresregens ausmachte - und das innerhalb von 12 Stunden!
Only yesterday it came to my attention that in the short span of time that our living room became soaked Jerusalem was getting more than 20% of its normal rainfall - in a matter of 12 hours! Ich führe auszugsweise einen Bericht zu diesem Phänomen an:
Jetzt im April 2006, der Zeit wo es sehr rasch auf die Periode hingeht wo der Sommer kommt und es dann trocken wird, hat Gott das Land gesegnet mit sindflutartigem Frühlingsregen! Dieser langsam, vor einigen Tagen im Westen von Afrika gebildete Regen, hat nun sein Wasser über uns ausgegossen. Im Natürlichen konnte sich dies aufgrund eines ungewöhn-lichen Hochs auf hohem Niveau innerhalb des Polarstromes bilden. Im allgemeinen fielen von Dan bis Beersheba zwischen 1 und 5 Centimeter Regen, einer Menge die für die Zeit von April ungewöhnlich ist. Interessant ist auch die Tatsache, dass die stärksten Niederschläge über der Heiligen Stadt Jerusalem, niedergingen! Hier in Jerusalem waren es rund 20% der normalen Regenmenge eines ganzen Jahres, innerhalb von nur 12 Stunden. Damit verbunden waren wunderschöne Blitze zu sehen die diesen Frühlingsregen begleiteten. Es waren die stärksten Frühlingsregen die für Jerusalem für einen Tag seit Beginn der Messungen vor über Hundert Jahren je aufgezeichnet worden sind. Die 5 Centimeter Regen über Jerusalem sind 5x mehr als wir üblicherweise während des Monates April empfangen.

BIBEL-LESE
Am gleichen Tag stand meine tägliche Bibellese in Jesaja 35, eines der Kapitel in der Bibel das über die vor uns liegenden Tage, spricht wenn der HERR die Wüste in Jsrael in einen Blumengarten verwandeln wird. Ich las ebenfalls Jessaja 51 weil beide Kapitel die bevorstehenden mächtigen Veränderungen in der Wüste ansprechen, die bald statt finden werden.
Ich führe nachstehend nur gerade einen Vers aus den erwähnten Kapiteln an:
Jeremia 35:6
6Dann werden die Lahmen springen wie ein Hirsch, und die Zunge der Stummen wird frohlocken. Denn es werden Wasser in der Wüste hervorbrechen und Ströme im dürren Lande.
Jesaja 51:3
3Ja, der HERR tröstet Zion, er tröstet alle ihre Trümmer und macht ihre Wüste wie Eden und ihr dürres Land wie den dGarten des HERRN, daß man Wonne und Freude darin findet, Dank und Lobgesang.
NAMIBIA
Bevor wir dieses Jahr nach Südafrika gingen erzählte mir ein naher Verwandter von der schrecklichen Trockenheit die sie bis zur letzten Weihnachten durchmachten. Plötzlich kam der Regen und innerhalb einem Monat (während der Zeit von Januar bis Februar) bekamen sie soviel Regen wie dies normalerweise während eines ganzen Jahres der Fall ist.
Als wir dann in Kapstadt waren wurde uns bewusst, dass das grosse Wüstenland Namibia ebenfalls eine ungewöhnlich grosse Menge Regen erhielt. Namibia ist tatsächlich ein Wüstenland und eines der trockensten auf dieser Erde! Es gibt dort grosse Gebiete die nur gerade 150 Milimeter pro Jahr Regen erhalten!
Nichtsdestotrotz wurden am 19. März 2006 viele Gebiete dieser grossen Nation, in der nur gerade 2 Millionen Menschen leben, die grössten je gemessenen Niederschläge registriert, nämlich fast 1000 Milimeter – im Jahresvergleich von nur 150 Milimeter. Szenen die man nie zuvor in Namibia gesehen hatte, wurden Wirklichkeit: Grüne Grasteppiche, wo sonst nur Wüste zu sehen war.
Einen Bericht der mir zu Ohren kam lautete: Dies war der beste Regen seit über 1000 Jahren! Dies bedeutet Regen die vor vielen Hundert Jahren gefallen sind, als die ersten Siedler nach Afrika kamen. Ich weiss, dass dies nur eine Form der Beschreibung war, aber es hat in mir eine Saite zum klingen gebracht. Ich bekam den Eindruck, als ob das Klinka in diesem Land anfängt sich zu verändern. Das ist dies, über das die Bibel spricht, was in der letzten Zeit geschehen wird.
KAPSTADT EINE INSEL
In der Mitte aller dieser Erlebnisse kam eine Autobiographie in unsere Hände, die von einem sehr vertrauensvollen Evangelisten und Diener Gottes handelte, der hier unter dem Namen Dr. Willie Marais, bekannt ist. In einem der Kapitel erwähnt er ganz klar einen Eindruck, den er immer hatte, wenn er nach Kapstadt gekommen ist: Die Stadt wird verschwinden unter dem Meeressspiegel und nur die Höhe des Tafelgebirges wird noch wie eine Insel aus dem Meer ragen. Kapstadt ist die Hauptstadt von Südafrika und der Ort an dem die Regierung ihren Sitz hat.
Weshalb dieser Bericht so vertrauenswürdig ist, ist der Ruf dieses Gottesmannes in Südafrika. Im weiteren ist er ein Diener in der Holländisch Reformierten Kirche und nicht Teil der charismatischen Bewegung aus deren Zugehörigkeit man ja viel eher eine Prophetie dieser Art erwarten würde. Und noch wichtig, er hatte diesen Eindruck jedes Mal wenn er in Kapstadt war.
Ich habe seine Worte aus dem Afrikanns ins Englische, d.h. Deutsche übersetzt:
Als ich fragte: Wie soll denn dies geschehen, kam die Antwort: Durch ein Erdbeben. Es wird einen Riss in der Erde geben der dann das Meer von Kapstadt bis Fish Hoek verbinden wird. Dies wird sich nicht langsam entwickeln, sondern es wird in einem Augenblick geschehen. Es wird keine Zeit bleiben damit die Menschen dem entfliehen könnten….Es wird die grösste Naturkatastrophe sein, die dieses Land je getroffen hat.
UNSER BESUCH
Der HERR begann sehr klar zu uns über einen Besuch in Namibia zu sprechen. Wir haben dieses Land zuletzt im Jahr 1986 bereist, nicht viel später nach unserer Hochzeit, 20 Jahre zurück!
Namibia ist das Land in welchem ich im Jahre 1982 zum HERRN fand und wo ich kurz darauf eine Jüngerschaftsschule von JMEM (Jugend mit einer Mission) besuchte. Der HERR bestätigte unsere Reise mit Genesis 35. Es war erstaunlich. In dieser Schriftstelle kehrte Jakob nach Bethel zurück, wo ihm der HERR zum ersten mal begegnete.
Drienie und ich hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Namibia, aber ich heute nicht den Raum um in alle Détails zu gehen.
TRÄUME

Wahlen in Jsrael

SONNENFINSTERNIS
Gestern war eine andere Sonnenfinsternis über ganz Jsrael klar auszumachen. Sie kam genau an dem Tag, als das Wahlergebnis in Jsrael bekannt gegeben wurde.
Diese Wahl war eine ganz wichtige weil das Israelische Volk darüber bestimmte wie der zukünftige Grenzverlauf im Land sein sollte. Das Resultat, ungeachtet des klaren Reden Gottes (Hirnschlag von Ariel Sharon, Hurrikan Kathrina) war eindeutig für die Weiterführung der Teilung des Landes in ein Zweistaatenland, d.h. der Gründung eines Staates Palästina.
Das Ergebnis dieser Wahlen war für mich eigentlich nicht überraschend. Es gibt ja auch sehr viele Christen die in den Vorfällen mit Ariel Sharon und dem Hurrikan Kathrina kein Reden von Gott erkennen können. Wie viel klarer muss das Reden Gottes gemäß seinem Wort noch werden? Ich denke, dass die Jsraelis mit Gaza schon viel abgegeben haben und jetzt nicht mehr zurück können.
Manchmal künden Sonnenfinsternisse schreckliche auf uns zukommende Ereignisse an. Ich denke da an die letzte Sonnenfinsternis über dem nahen Osten, am 3. Oktober 2005. In der gleichen Woche fand das verheerende Erbeben in Pakistan statt, eines der schlimmsten in der modernen Geschichte. Es forderte das Leben von zwischen 50 und 100'000 Menschen!
In seiner Siegesrede lobte der neue Premierminister, Ehud Olmert, zuerst die Verdienste von Ariel Sharon, so als ob seine Entscheidungen für Jsrael nicht schon genug Unheil über das Land gebracht hätten, nicht zu erwähnen alle die Menschen die er durch sein Verhalten betrogen hat, nur um seine eigenen Ziele zu erreichen. Es verwirrt mich manchmal zu sehen, wie politische Führer etwas übersehen können, wie klar und eindeutig etwas auch sein mag.
OLMERT
Ehud Olmert ist ohne Zweifel einer der begabtesten Israelischen Politiker. Er war nur gerade 28 Jahre alt als er zum ersten mal in das Parlament gewählt wurde. Später hatte er zwei Legislaturen von großem Erfolg, als Bürgermeister von Jerusalem. Er verteidigte die Unzertrennbarkeit von Jerusalem mit Verbissenheit.
Er ist bei weitem der charismatischste Redner innerhalb aller Jsraelischer Politiker den ich je gehört habe. Er ist ebenfalls einer der schon eine große Wegstrecke zusammen mit Christen zurück gelegt hat. Ich dachte immer wenn ich ihn hörte, was für ein Segen würde es sein für das Land, wenn er eines Tages Ministerpräsident werden würde.
Er war einer von zwei führenden Persönlichkeiten in Nathan Sharansky’s JERUSALEM I PLEDGE TO YOU – eine Zusammenkunft am 8. Januar 2001, nachdem Ehud Barak Jerusalem auf Clintons Verhandlungstisch legte in Camp David. Es ergab sich, dass es eine der größten, wenn nicht die Größte Demonstration, die je in der Geschichte Jerusalem’s statt gefunden hat.
Sehr schnell nach diesem Ereignis war Barak nicht mehr im Amt und wurde durch Sharon mit der größten je erreichten Mehrheit an Wählerstimmen, ersetzt. Interessant, dass nach dieser Kundgebung wieder eine komplette Sonnenfinsternis kam. Wir machten dazu einen Film und können bei Interesse auf DVD zur Verfügung stellen. Wichtig aber ist, dass wir für Ehud Olmert beten.
Kein Zweifel, dass Gott seinen Segen auf das Leben von Olmert gelegt hat, aber was wird die Zukunft für ihn bringen, in einer sehr kritischen Zeit der Geschichte Jsrales? Er brachte seine Kräfte zusammen mit denjenigen von Sharon im Hinblick auf Gaza und der Teilung des Landes in ein Zweistaatengebilde. Sharon teilte auch seine Liebe mit Christen. Nichtsdestotrotz nahm er während der letzten beiden Laubhüttenfeste nicht mehr teil, obwohl er als Redner angekündigt worden war. Die Gründe dafür waren für mich nicht klar. Ich hoffe, dass Olmert diese einzigartige Beziehung zu den Christlichen Organisationen nicht einfach fallen lässt. Bitte betet für ihn mehr als für alle anderen Führer dieser Welt!

Gestern war eine andere Sonnenfinsternis über ganz Jsrael klar auszumachen. Sie kam genau an dem Tag, als das Wahlergebnis in Jsrael bekannt gegeben wurde.
Diese Wahl war eine ganz wichtige weil das Israelische Volk darüber bestimmte wie der zukünftige Grenzverlauf im Land sein sollte. Das Resultat, ungeachtet des klaren Reden Gottes (Hirnschlag von Ariel Sharon, Hurrikan Kathrina) war eindeutig für die Weiterführung der Teilung des Landes in ein Zweistaatenland, d.h. der Gründung eines Staates Palästina.
Das Ergebnis dieser Wahlen war für mich eigentlich nicht überraschend. Es gibt ja auch sehr viele Christen die in den Vorfällen mit Ariel Sharon und dem Hurrikan Kathrina kein Reden von Gott erkennen können. Wie viel klarer muss das Reden Gottes gemäß seinem Wort noch werden? Ich denke, dass die Jsraelis mit Gaza schon viel abgegeben haben und jetzt nicht mehr zurück können.
Manchmal künden Sonnenfinsternisse schreckliche auf uns zukommende Ereignisse an. Ich denke da an die letzte Sonnenfinsternis über dem nahen Osten, am 3. Oktober 2005. In der gleichen Woche fand das verheerende Erbeben in Pakistan statt, eines der schlimmsten in der modernen Geschichte. Es forderte das Leben von zwischen 50 und 100'000 Menschen!
